Sabiha Gökçen Airport Apron and Attachments Construction Work

The region which we made within the scope of Apron and Attachments Construction Work, which we interpret as Apron 1 in Sabiha Gökçen, one of the fast-growing airports of Europe is in capacity of 8 ramp area, with respect to dimensions of region which we interpret as Apron 2, it is in capacity of min.8, max.11 parking area. It was constructed run-off area in width of 20.000 m2 which we interpret as holding bay for use in special cases in addition to above constructions. Also it was provided expansion of highway network by enlarging the ring road on which get access land vehicles in available air space up to the additional aprons we made.

Detailed know-how about the project as below:

It was caved and removed 1.300.000 m3 topsoil and propertyless material from the region based on soil investigation within the scope of project; in furtherance it was layed and compacted 1.500.000 fill material in required property tested in laboratory in thickness of 40 cm max with heavy equipment in accordance with procedure. It was applied CBR and diper compaction tests for layed fill layers in every 1500m2 area and it was passed to laying process of next layer by providing specification value. After reaching required level, it was constructed infrastructure galleries, retaining walls, Jet fuel line and electrical infrastructure system. Within the scope of project it was performed 111.000 m3 concrete production totally.
